Classic Beef Lasagna
Ingredients:
* 9 lasagna noodles
* 500g ground beef
* 1 onion, diced
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 700-ml marinara sauce
* 250g ricotta cheese
* 1 egg
* 200g shredded mozzarella cheese
* Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Cook lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.
6. In a 9x13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce. Top with a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by a ricotta mixture and shredded mozzarella.
7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of mozzarella cheese on top.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
9. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
