Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake 



Ingredients:

For the Chocolate Cake:


1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 🍫

3/4 cup cocoa powder 🍫

1 1/2 tsp baking soda 🍫

1 tsp baking powder 🍫

1 3/4 cups granulated sugar 🍫

1/4 tsp salt 🍫

2 large eggs 🥚

1 cup buttermilk 🥛

1/2 cup vegetable oil 🍶

1 cup hot coffee or water ☕

1 tsp vanilla extract 🍶

For the Peanut Butter Frosting:


1 cup butter, softened 🥜

1 1/2 cups natural peanut butter 🥜

2 1/2 cups powdered sugar 🥜

1/3 cup heavy cream 🥛

1 tsp vanilla extract 🍶

For the Chocolate Ganache:


3.5 oz dark chocolate 🍫

1/2 cup heavy cream 🥛


Instructions:


1️⃣ Make the Cake:


Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease two 8-inch cake pans and line with parchment. Dust with cocoa.

Combine flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.

In another bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, oil, and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients. Stir in hot coffee.

Divide batter between pans; bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely.

2️⃣ Make the Frosting:


Beat butter and peanut butter until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla. Beat until light.

3️⃣ Assemble the Cake:


Level cake layers if needed. Layer with frosting between and on top. Chill for 2-3 hours.

4️⃣ Make the Ganache:


Heat cream until simmering; pour over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth.

Pour over cake, letting it drip down sides. Decorate with additional frosting.
