Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake 



Ingredients:

For the Chocolate Cake:


1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour ๐Ÿซ

3/4 cup cocoa powder ๐Ÿซ

1 1/2 tsp baking soda ๐Ÿซ

1 tsp baking powder ๐Ÿซ

1 3/4 cups granulated sugar ๐Ÿซ

1/4 tsp salt ๐Ÿซ

2 large eggs ๐Ÿฅš

1 cup buttermilk ๐Ÿฅ›

1/2 cup vegetable oil ๐Ÿถ

1 cup hot coffee or water โ˜•

1 tsp vanilla extract ๐Ÿถ

For the Peanut Butter Frosting:


1 cup butter, softened ๐Ÿฅœ

1 1/2 cups natural peanut butter ๐Ÿฅœ

2 1/2 cups powdered sugar ๐Ÿฅœ

1/3 cup heavy cream ๐Ÿฅ›

1 tsp vanilla extract ๐Ÿถ

For the Chocolate Ganache:


3.5 oz dark chocolate ๐Ÿซ

1/2 cup heavy cream ๐Ÿฅ›


Instructions:


1๏ธโƒฃ Make the Cake:


Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (180ยฐC). Grease two 8-inch cake pans and line with parchment. Dust with cocoa.

Combine flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.

In another bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, oil, and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients. Stir in hot coffee.

Divide batter between pans; bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely.

2๏ธโƒฃ Make the Frosting:


Beat butter and peanut butter until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla. Beat until light.

3๏ธโƒฃ Assemble the Cake:


Level cake layers if needed. Layer with frosting between and on top. Chill for 2-3 hours.

4๏ธโƒฃ Make the Ganache:


Heat cream until simmering; pour over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth.

Pour over cake, letting it drip down sides. Decorate with additional frosting.
